[3] A COLLECTION OF HOUSES IN PROVIDENCE
This project began with a collection of houses in Providence that I have photographed during my time living in this city. I have been infatuated with the homes here, each showing their individual personality with their different combinations of shapes and colors. In order to dissect my visual understanding of the houses, I decided to break apart the homes and look at some of their individual characteristics and compare the homes to each other. The result is a diagram that connects the formal qualities and creates a networked web of the Providence houses. I also wrote personal letters to each house, describing the personal qualities that stood out to me when I look at each home.
